It saddens me to read an awesome story of where some police officer does something kind and above and beyond the call of duty to help someone in need, then at the end of the story it says something along the lines of “share this to prove that not all police officers are bad.”
It saddens me that we live in a society where we have to “prove” anything about police officers. Can’t it just be a story of a good deed, done by one human being to another, and not evidence to prove/disprove some greater theory. Can’t it just mean that police officers are people too, not just monsters that the media turns us out to be. I hate that we live in a world where it’s shocking that police can actually be good people.
